H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Delprat s\u00e8me un chaos dor\u00e9 \u00e0 Marmottan. Avec \u00ab Conversation autour d\u2019une table \u00bb la plasticienne d\u00e9tourne les codes de la guerre et du faste Empire en un petit th\u00e9\u00e2tre kitsch de la col\u00e8re.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le mus\u00e9e Marmottan rime avec impressionnisme. Les touristes s\u2019aventurent dans ce 16e profond et vert proche du bois de Boulogne pour admirer les Monet. Parfois ils y croisent l\u2019art contemporain comme une surprise. \u00c9<\/strong>rik Desmazi\u00e8res<\/strong>, directeur depuis 2020, organise en effet des \u00ab Rencontres inattendues \u00bb. Pour cette cinqui\u00e8me \u00e9dition il a donn\u00e9 carte blanche \u00e0 Helene Delprat. Elle a vu rouge et livr\u00e9 une oeuvre toute en dorures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Pour la premi\u00e8re fois une artiste n\u2019a pas voulu choisir une oeuvre mais le lieu entier \u00bb note Laurence<\/strong> Bertrand<\/strong> Dorl\u00e9ac<\/strong> commissaire de l\u2019exposition. Et le lieu c\u2019est le mus\u00e9e, un h\u00f4tel particulier-pavillon de chasse \u00e0 la gloire de l\u2019Empire. On y respire un air de faste et de guerre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deux choses qui irriguent H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Delprat de col\u00e8re.
Veste \u00e0 carreaux, cheveux ultra courts, \u0153il et corps en (perp\u00e9tuel ?) mouvement, la plasticienne accueille pr\u00e8s de la table comme l\u2019h\u00f4tesse d\u2019un d\u00eener. Car oui son Interpr\u00e9tation du lieu est une table. Pourquoi une table? Peut-\u00eatre parce que la table symbolise l\u2019apparat de l\u2019Empire. Ou bien parce que c\u2019est autour d\u2019une table que l\u2019on d\u00e9cidait de guerres. Ou encore parce que c\u2019est sur une table que Napol\u00e9on et ses g\u00e9n\u00e9raux posaient leurs plans de campagne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La plasticienne, elle, y d\u00e9pose un chaos dor\u00e9. Un buste d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 de l\u2019orf\u00e8vre Pierre-Philippe Thomire, une \u00e9p\u00e9e, un char. Mais elle essaime aussi une flop\u00e9e de bacchantes, putti et autres d\u00e9esses d\u00e9nud\u00e9es. C\u2019est toute une brocante blingbling qui s\u2019\u00e9tale. Le tout en c\u00e9ramique dor\u00e9e. Une exp\u00e9rience pour cette artiste connue pour ses peintures et ses vid\u00e9os.
\u00ab On ne va pas faire un \u00e9tat des lieux. Mais tout cela renvoie \u00e0 la col\u00e8re face \u00e0 la guerre \u00bb. Les motifs muraux inspir\u00e9s des vitrines des commer\u00e7ants durant le premier conflit mondial illustrent pleinement la th\u00e9matique. Mais quid des pieds en bois qui soutiennent la table entre chaines et bouteilles ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e9tournement et \u00ab esth\u00e9tique du superflu \u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Un peu de vrai parmi tout ce superflu \u00bb souffle-t-elle. Le superflu : autre source de l\u2019ire d\u2019H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Delprat. Un faste qui se retrouve sur les murs avec les \u00abtapisseries \u00bb l\u00e9opard et les sculptures en polyester, mat\u00e9riau clef de l\u2019installation avec la c\u00e9ramique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Delprat s\u2019est d\u00e9tourn\u00e9e de Claude Monet. Elle a aussi d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 Thomire, les vitrines de 14-18, les d\u00e9cors. Ce petit th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la col\u00e8re et du chaos est une belle Illustration du d\u00e9tournement, la marque de fabrique de l\u2019artiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
