Turbulences Eshkol Nevo polars vibratoires . Trois nouvelles o\u00f9 l’onirisme cohabite avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 brute de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 isra\u00e9lienne, questionne la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et refl\u00e8te avec d\u00e9licatesse les fragilit\u00e9s humaines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’\u00e9crivain isra\u00e9lien Eshkol Nevo sort son dernier opus. Trois nouvelles o\u00f9 les personnages se croisent et parfois dialoguent dans la tourmente de leurs vies. Le recueil fait suite \u00e0 la publication de quatre romans chez Gallimard. Quatre Maisons et un exil <\/em>(2008), Le cours du jeu est boulevers\u00e9 <\/em>(2010), Neuland <\/em>(2014), Trois \u00c9tages <\/em>(2018), La derni\u00e8re interview <\/em>(2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les histoires d’amour bouscul\u00e9es t\u00e9moignent de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 isra\u00e9lienne. Les guerres dans les cauchemars, le rigorisme religieux qui renie les jeunes s’\u00e9loignant de la r\u00e8gle, le racisme … Eshkol Nevo ne fait pas de cadeaux. Mais il nous en offre avec ses trois r\u00e9cits d’une centaine de pages chacun. Avec \u00e0 chaque fois une intrigue qui laisse une large place au doute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amour et v\u00e9rit\u00e9 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eshkol Nevo utilise les codes du polar pour explorer l’amour et la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de chacun. Dans la premi\u00e8re nouvelle, un couple part en voyage de noces en Bolivie. Mor, la jeune mari\u00e9e, rencontre un voyageur, Omri. Plus tard le mari tombe dans une crevasse sur le Route de la mort. La police enqu\u00eate sur la culpabilit\u00e9 de Mor et la complicit\u00e9 \u00e9ventuelle d’Omri. O\u00f9 est la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 en amour ? Peut-\u00eatre dans la d\u00e9cision de croire ou pas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le deuxi\u00e8me r\u00e9cit, Acher, un m\u00e9decin chef veuf depuis peu, se sent \u00e9trangement attir\u00e9 par Yafit, une brillante interne. Apr\u00e8s un chagrin d’amour Yafit se rend chez Acher qui la r\u00e9conforte et dont un geste d\u00e9rape. Maladresse ou intention d\u00e9plac\u00e9e ? Que veut croire Acher ? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, il y a la disparition d’Ofer dans un verger durant la promenade hebdomadaire avec sa femme, Hali. Le couple traverse des turbulences. La police suspecte un temps l’\u00e9pouse avant de classer l’affaire. La famille poursuit l’enqu\u00eate. La conclusion de \u00ab\u00a0Un homme p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans un verger\u00a0\u00bb n’a pas la subtilit\u00e9 de la premi\u00e8re nouvelle mais interroge notre rapport au r\u00e9el et les fronti\u00e8res de nos imaginaires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polars vibratoires<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Si cette derni\u00e8re nouvelle est directement inspir\u00e9e de Mulholland Drive (David Lynch 2001) les trois r\u00e9cits sont aussi tr\u00e8s fortement impr\u00e9gn\u00e9s d’onirisme. Le fantastique cohabite avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 brute de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 isra\u00e9lienne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La musique conf\u00e8re au roman une dimension vibratoire qui renforce sa composante onirique. Il y a ainsi les percussions d’Omri (\u00e2me en h\u00e9breu) qui lui donnent une seconde chance de vie. Des sons qui se retrouvent dans la rave-songe o\u00f9 Hali cherche son mari. Les basses de la party vibraient avant la disparation d’Ofer et reprennent pendant la recherche d’Hali. La musique, de Schubert \u00e0 King Crimson, scelle l’amour d’Acher et de Nina, sa femme d\u00e9funte. Elle favorise \u00e9galement le rapprochement du m\u00e9decin et de son interne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais la vibration mais pas que musicale. Elle rel\u00e8ve aussi de l’imaginaire. Incarn\u00e9 notamment par brumes dans lesquelles disparait Ronen et celui du jardin-verger-paradis qui happe Ofer. Ou encore par les co\u00efncidences, les intuitions plus ou moins cr\u00e9dibles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les personnages diffusent eux aussi leur ondes. Myst\u00e9rieuses, ambig\u00fces, noires avec Mor, ses boucles et ses cr\u00e9oles. Des spirales qui hypnotisent. Solaires avec Omri le viking blond. Ou encore avec les magn\u00e9tiques Yafit et Niva… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre Isra\u00ebl et l’Am\u00e9rique du Sud Eshkol Nevo cr\u00e9e des turbulences agr\u00e9ables qui jouent sur notre go\u00fbt pour les \u00e9nigmes et stimulent nos imaginaires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
