Gangao Lang – MEP : Second Self Introduction ou l’intimit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique. C’est au Studio, l’espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9mergence. La jeune photographe, laur\u00e9ate du prix Dior, y dessine visages et paysages \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re d’outils digitaux. Po\u00e9tique mais un peu trop lisse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Lueurs g\u00e9om\u00e9triques, teintes chaudes, jeu d’ombres et de transparences irriguent le travail de Gangao Lang, 21 ans, originaire de la province de Henan (Chine) et laur\u00e9ate 2019 du Prix Dior de la Photographie pour Jeunes Talents.<\/p>\n

Des oeuvres lisses, un beau sans asp\u00e9rit\u00e9 ni d\u00e9bordement qui sied \u00e0 la marque. Ce qui est toujours plus \u00ab\u00a0authentique\u00a0\u00bb que les campagnes aux pseudo rebelles et autres sauvages p\u00e9trifi\u00e9s dans un papier de luxe.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0D’abord il y a la Beaut\u00e9 ensuite c’est difficile \u00e0 expliquer mais la beaut\u00e9 s’efface au profit d’autre chose<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9clare Gangao Lang sur la cha\u00eene Youtube Dior.<\/p>\n

Cette autre chose s’approche de l’\u00e9motion, de l’\u00e9pure po\u00e9tique. D’une sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 fleur de clich\u00e9 qui vient, nous souffle-t-on, de l’amiti\u00e9 entre l’artiste et son mod\u00e8le, Li Wanyue.<\/p>\n

Les liens avec la muse-amie s’accompagnent d’une ma\u00eetrise des techniques digitales. La photographe plasticienne retravaille sa \u00ab\u00a0mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb avec des outils num\u00e9riques.
On note les halos dessin\u00e9s \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re \u00ab\u00a0binaire\u00a0\u00bb qui rappelant ceux de Chen Man, les lignes et les volumes qui accentuent les \u00e9motions que l’artiste cherche \u00e0 capter ou \u00e0 amplifier chez son mod\u00e8le.<\/p>\n

Un regard int\u00e9rieur sur le portrait r\u00e9sultat peut-\u00eatre d’une recherche sur l’intimit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n
